senior assisted living

"Frankfort Pines offers different levels of care for senior citizens who need assistance with the activities of daily living"

basic care

Help with the tasks of daily living (bathing, dressing, and grooming) in a non-intrusive manner consistent with an individually determined care plan.

Aging In Place Care

As a resident's need for support increases over time, monthly functional assessments are used to change care plans and ensure continued appropriate care. This flexibility allows residents to remain with us longer, rather than moving to a more restrictive setting.

Rehabilitation Care

For recuperating patients who must leave a hospital or nursing home before they are ready to return to independent living.

To: Steve, Pam and the Entire Staff at Frankfort Pines:

We just want to tell all of you how much we appreciated the care, concern and love you all have given to Verna.

It is a very difficult decision to take a loved one who has lived independently in her own home and move her almost 300 miles to a new location with other seniors who were also in need of a safe environment to live. You try to do the best for that person but aren't sure how they will adjust. Verna adjusted from day one and was very happy with her new home. The reason, all of you wonderful folks who helped make that transition.

Verna had no interest in Bingo, but when we came into her room and saw the plaque for the "Bingo Champion of the Week" and all the nickels she won, we couldn't believe it. She was so proud of herself and went on to bring that plaque back into her room many times with even more nickels. She enjoyed everyone on staff and the other residents she shared home with. There were plenty of activities and celebrations and she looked forward to each one. She didn't quite make it to her 93rd birthday, something she spoke about almost every day, telling us don't forget to get the cake when it was time, she wanted her celebration, too.

Hugs, smiles and kind words happened daily. They weren't asked for, they were freely given by everyone. We can't thank you enough for making Verna's almost nine months there so special to her and giving her family piece of mind in knowing she was safe and well cared for.

Sincerely, Fred and Marcia ONeal

Moving elders out of the homes they love, away from friends, and into the next step (whether assisted living or skilled care) is a very difficult decision to make and follow through with and we tried as long as we could to keep our parents in the home they loved but when the time came Frankfort Pines was the perfect home for our parents when they became unable to live completely independently. And home is the proper word to use because this is the atmosphere that is provided at this nice and small and very personal assisted living facility. Steve, Pam, and their staff take personal interest in all of the residents, getting to know the families, and welcoming everyone into this grand family of seniors. My parents were not just "the people in Room 119" they were Bud and Peg and staff became such a wonderful and caring part of Mom and Dad's life. The residents come together at meals and other activities and visit each other in rooms and staff continually encourages participation in activities. Family is always welcome to visit and participate in meals and activities because this is so important for our parents or elders that live at Frankfort Pines. Sitting at the dining room table with all the other residents eating the homemade meals with my Mom and Dad was fun, getting to know the other residents, hearing their stories and adding to the table conversations.

The Frankfort Pines staff kept us constantly in the loop on what was going on with Mom and Dad and let us know that it was important for us to participate in their care, keeping us involved in decision making and what was best for our parents.

The staff at Frankfort Pines are the best of the best, so kind and caring, and each with their own special approach to caring for our parents, every last one of them!

If you need a place for your parents or family, Frankfort Pines should be your first choice.

Dear Pam & Steve and Everyone at Frankfort Pines,
Last spring, when it became clear that it was too risky for Mom to be at home with us any longer, I was in a bit of a panic about finding the right place for her. I am so grateful that we found Frankfort Pines and that you had an apartment available. It quickly became apparent that she was in the very best place possible with caring people and in a beautiful environment.

Your facilities are always so clean and bright, and the staff is always so helpful. If she couldn't be at home with us she had definitely moved into a place that was the next best thing. And as her needs changed and her circumstances meant she needed more help, your people were right there making sure she was cared for in every way possible.

I felt very secure knowing that your attentive caregivers were keeping an eye on her and tending to all her needs. It is an amazing thing that you do, and you do it very well. I will always be grateful for all that you did for Mom.

Sincerely, Molly Frostic

Steve and Pam. I am pleased to have an opportunity to comment on the care my sister Susan Lutes received while living with you. While none of us look forward to not being able to live in our own homes Susan certainly had good care during the approximate two years that she was with you .

You have a caring and kind staff. The food was better than expected and you as owners went the long mile not only for Susan but also helping our family. Keep up your good work.

Sincerely, Harold Case

Our experience at the Frankfort Pines was nothing less than comforting and outstanding.

When my mother, Betty Heckman began to experience health concerns both mentally and physically we as a family searched for a facility that we could trust to deliver compassionate and the proper care.

We were very pleased to discover the Pines. Both Steve and Pam Kelly assured us that they and their staff could meet our mother's needs. They did just that during Betty's stay. Our family is very thankful to both the Kelly's and their staff.
